Hippocrates started its operation in Thessaloniki in 2001, as a specialized bookstore with medical veterinary and dental titles in collaboration with the most famous international publishers.

Soon Hippocrates developed into a publishing house called Rotonta, publishing medical books by Greek writers. Concluding collaborations with international publishing houses, original titles are published in Greek.
